We are pleased to announce the management buyout of Xen Accounting, a leading cloud accounting firm from the Equiom Group.

Managing Director, Hasan Shahariar commented “We are delighted to be able to continue the firm’s course as an independent practice, and are grateful for the support and guidance of Equiom during the last four years”.

Shahariar will be one of three partners alongside cloud accounting veterans Joey Steben and Robert Crane. Hasan is an expert at helping disruptive businesses scale and one of the original members of Xen Accounting during its early days.

Steben, a former leader of Xen Accounting stated “I’ve been a cloud accounting advocate for years and I am both very proud and motivated to return and resume the charge in pioneering this space”.

Crane, founder of Solid Capital Corporation and Japan Outsourcing Solutions, has a track record of building successful accounting businesses internationally in Hong Kong and Japan. Robert is excited to help grow a Canadian cloud accounting powerhouse based in his hometown of Montreal. “I’m thrilled to be working closely with Joey and Hasan and our amazing team to offer exceptional support to Canadian businesses and the venture capital community”.
